We, at parProjects, have gained a land agreement from the City of Cincinnati for the Factory Square Fine Arts Festival’s exterior programming which includes the presentation of large-scale, public artworks and a shipping container festival highlighting kinetic arts ...as well as the restoration of the former Myron Johnson Lumber Yard into a green space for the neighborhood of Northside.
In addition to this, we’ve created a partnership with Bloomfield / Schon + Partners to utilize the American Can Lofts' space for interior programming which too will be included in the Factory Square Fine Arts Festival. This part of the festival will feature solo exhibitions with prominent artists, drawing from both local and national talent. Also, in conjunction with a Prairie (gallery) entry-way exhibition, we at parProjects are looking forward to utilizing the large bays of the American Can Lofts, alongside Cincinnati's City Flea, as it's extremely rare to find a space like this that can comfortably display artwork and atmospheres that demand thirty foot ceilings!
Exciting educational programming is also being developed in coordination with The University of Cincinnati with the help of DAAP Galleries and Fuel Cincinnati, so please stay tuned for our exciting announcements! And because this is a blog-site, subscribing to our RSS feed (at the bottom of the right column) will keep you in the loop as thing progress.
